“Roots Music”… A Bit of History

Hello Music World,
As the music business constantly change and new comers arrive on the scene. Sometimes its said” They just came from no where”. Which in some cases maybe true, but not often. The majority of Artist has struggled for years, just to get their voices heard. As we take a birds eye view into the “True Artist” history we find a deeply embedded musical connection that could have started before birth, inside the mother’s womb….What an amazing point of view!!!!

History tells the entire story.

We would like to share photos of Leo Key’s musical history. As quoted time & time again “A picture says a 1000 words”

These photos are from the late 70’s early 80’s band he co-founded from Birmingham, Al. Under the direction of the late Bill Whitten & Workroom 27 Productions “Between The Two”, a 10 piece self contained touring pop/r&b band similar to EW&F toured the US & Japan, before decentigrating near the mid 80’s.
Leo’s solo career began after the groups departure in 81. Centerpiece of the groups musical direction, with strong rhythm guitar & writing skills, landed him opportunities to work with and learn from many well known producers, labels, & entertainers throughout the continental U.S. and Tokyo.
